Ha! Actually, I have vivid memories of eating it as a kid. My parents were into backpacking and freeze-dried food. We drank Tang, the astronaut’s drink more frequently, but there was one occasion they broke out the astronaut ice cream! I declined sampling it for now, though. 😀 There’s no nutritional value that I can find!But wait until you read Saving Mars–you might recognize the ingredients of the Mars ration bars!!!
Haha, yeah, I don’t think I really could’ve justified tasting it anyway. I get sick if I have unsoaked nuts; I don’t think I wanna take a chance with ice cream! 😉
